Hello all I am 5C's Head of Communications, I help spread the word about 5C, market and attend our community events, teach our Jolie Paint Workshops, work with our curating team to bring new inventory to our store, and create and bring the 5C Collective Newsletter to you each month. Alongside my connections and duties with 5C Custom Creations I am also a Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams & Property Manager/Leasing Coordinator for Bronze Star. I wear many hats throughout each week, in order to do all the things that I love. Therefore I am also a member of the Dallas Zoo Volunteer Council, in which I help create the best environment for the Dallas Zoo volunteers. On Tuesdays I get the awesome opportunity to work alongside animals as a Zookeeper Aide in the Animal Outreach Department. One thing about me is I am OBESSED with animal and marine life, hints my multiple aquariums throughout my home. My husband (Daniel) and I live in Richardson, TX and are the Event Coordinators for our neighborhood HOA. We love being in the Dallas Area, but one day we hope to move a little more east and have some land, as well as FARM ANIMALS. (insert tongue emoji). I hope to continue to bring you a great newsletter throughout 2024, thank you for being apart of our 5C journey!

“We moved back to the area from Kyle Tx, when my husband went back to work for his old company following my mothers death, to be closer to my dad. I had a small craft business I started when my son was an infant, I had been in a couple antique malls and done Canton for many years (even traveling back up from Kyle to do Canton). So naturally I wanted to get a booth in the largest antique store in town. After about 6 months, Gail Peterson had decided that she wanted to sell Finders Keepers and approached me about buying the store. After some thought I decided to purchase the store in January of 2020. Obviously things changed in March of 2020, due to covid. Didn't let it bother me, made adjustments, kept the faith, and re-opened as soon as possible in late April of 2020. Started with 32 vendors in January of 2020, after some construction opening us more access to the north side of the store, quickly started adding vendors and diversity to the store, by the end of 2021 had almost 50 vendors, 2 years later sitting at a variety of over 60 vendors, with a very large waiting list.” - Jamie
When she's not at the store she is at a sporting event. She has a 14 yo son, Evan Ray, that will be a freshmen at Winnsboro next year and plays every sport available. Usually 2 sports at a time. She also tries to support Raider Pride as much as she can. When she can she fits in "craft time", making anything unusual out of broken costume jewelry or covering it in rhinestones, when she's not redoing one of her 2 booths at the store.
“No true or one secret to it for me ..... attentive customer service, focus on lighting, variety and depth of vendors and playing great music!” - Says Jamie

Needless to say, they sleep very little. With 2 businesses, busy son, 4 dogs, 3 cats (2 of which can be found at the store most of the time) 1 turtle(not at the store) and a seasonal family of foxes that I feed to keep the mole population down at our home. They are always on the go!
