joins the Plates with Purpose family as our NINTH community partnership. 

 

Owners Albert & Sam grew up in South County, and know how food insecurity affects their neighbors. They are hard working and deeply committed to giving back to their communities. We were so happy to hear their interest in supporting Jonnycake Center for Hope, an organization just one street over, and one that serves close to 2,000 neighbors each year! 

 

This is also an organization that helped Albert & Sam when they were younger—which makes this “full circle moment” even more special.

 

Together, we are rallying for our most vulnerable neighbors in Wakefield! We need your help to allow the team at Terminise's Cafe to be able to continue this important work.

Join us in welcoming Nicole Palumbo as Secretary and Felicia Surtel as Treasurer. They have both been loyal supporters of our organization and mission since the very beginning, which makes their willingness to officially join our team even more special.

We recently had the honor of setting up a special ‘Hope Chest’ at The Elizabeth Buffum Chace Center. 

The team there works tirelessly to help women and their families impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault. With YOUR support, Plates with Purpose will be working to keep these shelves stocked with Purpose & Love all year. 

A great BIG thank you to Alicia, a very special volunteer, who shopped for days getting what was needed to get this hope chest stocked!
