2nd Friday Show Notes:
 
The Amplify Second Friday meeting was led by Amy Alexander, the president of A2 Sales and Marketing. She introduced herself and her mission to help entrepreneurial women with digital marketing strategies.
 
After introductions, Amy pivoted to the main discussion topic: How Much Promotion is Too Much Promotion?
 
Key Objective:
By the end of this workshop, you will understand the importance of consistent self-promotion and feel empowered to embrace visibility without fear of being "too annoying."
 
Specifically, we'll look at:
  • The ideal sharing schedule for events, freebies, workshops, and offers
  • A2's Golden Rule for consistent promotion
  • Top 5 promotional details for small business owners
Coaching Lesson/Discussion:
 
Amy Alexander discussed the importance of consistent self-promotion and being authentic in one's message. She encouraged social media shoutouts and emphasized the need for small business owners to consistently promote their offers. Alexander also discussed the ideal sharing schedule for promoting events, freebies, workshops, and offers, emphasizing the importance of starting promotion two weeks in advance and utilizing email marketing with a series of five to seven emails.
 
The meeting also highlighted the importance of networking, consistent marketing, and overcoming self-doubt in promoting small businesses.
 
Throughout the meeting, Amy Alexander emphasized the importance of not holding back on promoting one's business and the need for a strong support network. She shared personal experiences and insights, highlighting the significance of finding cheerleaders and consistently presenting one's brand to increase revenue. 
 
Alexander also discussed the importance of engaging with followers on social media by sharing personal experiences and responding to comments, and encouraged attendees to show personality, share stories, and engage with the audience through calls to action, comments, and sharing posts.
