Hi First name / there!

My goodness, how are we almost halfway through March already? I've been super busy writing while still fighting this nagging respiratory bug. My family is more than ready for my hacking cough to go away, and I don't blame them. I'm making time to see my family doctor about it this week, so fingers crossed. I hope you're feeling healthy and happy, and that the sun is shining to make your day bright and cheery!

On the subject of sunshine, we're only eleven days away from the release of The Grumpy Demon's Sunshine!  This cozy, steamy monster romance is the first book in my new Fate's Falls series, and I'm so excited for you to get to know all the residents of this secret, mountainside town in British Columbia.

The Grumpy Demon's Sunshine releases on March 24th as part of the Monsters in Love 5: Lost in the Fire anthology. With 10+ new monster romances, this is a great value, so I hope you'll grab a copy during the anthology's limited-time run.

Some early reviews for
The Grumpy Demon's Sunshine

“Oh my heart! This is how a novella should be written. I ploughed through this in an hour, yet it didn't feel rushed and now I'm going to re-read it was so beautiful! Raz is an 8 foot hell demon who metes out human revenge wishes. I love how he just speaks how he sees — having no emotions, and it was even better watching him develop those feelings for human Dela. Loved the steam, and the twist at the end was the icing on the cake!”

“OMG, This was so amazing. Who knew that when I chose a book with a demon on it my heart would just bust open. I NEVER copy quotes from the books I read, I like them but then I just move on. I copied like three paragraphs of things Raz said to her! AH-mazing!!”

Are you ready to go to Fate's Falls and meet the red-hot vengeance demon?

The Grumpy Demon's Sunshine
RAZBUNARE
I was born in the fires of hell, created to grant humans' selfish wishes for revenge in exchange for their souls. I exist only to fulfill my purpose. After eons of meting out vengeance, both petty and dire, something sparked inside me—an emotional response. Vengeance demons do not feel things. And yet, I did.

Rather than return to the hell realm, I wandered the earth before settling in Fate's Falls, a protected place where monsters of all types reside in harmony. There are even some humans in town, including one female who stokes flames inside me that put hellfire to shame.

The lovely coffee barista is too soft. Too small. Too filled with sunshine and goodness to be attracted to a towering, red-skinned, hell-born demon. She will never know my feelings, never return them, but Dela is my purpose now. I would kill for her. I would die for her. But I cannot stay away from her.

DELA
After dying at the hand of my ex-boyfriend, then being returned to life by a reaper, I follow his advice and escape to Fate’s Falls. Not only are reapers real, so are all kinds of fantastic creatures, many of whom reside in the secret small town surrounded by mountains and forests. I’m not afraid of the monsters here, but I didn’t expect to be attracted to one. Especially not a massive, red demon who barely speaks and has the most intense case of resting-grumpy face I’ve ever seen.

When a coincidence—or fate—gives me a chance to get to know Raz, the attraction quickly becomes something deeper. And it’s mutual. Turns out, the hotter-than-hell demon isn’t so grumpy after all. He's sweeter than a cinnamon roll, and he’s mine for as long as I want him, which might be forever…
