Hello, First name / my friend!
It's been probably six months that I've been saying “I'll be back soon with a big announcement!” and…did not come back with a big announcement.

Finally--FINALLY--the time has come. My next book will arrive in ebook, audio, and print on June 25

I'll share the cover, synopsis, and narrators this month and next, preorders too, but I can tell you right now you're going to love these characters and their story. You haven't met them yet but you know plenty of their friends.

Thanks for sticking with me for the news!

New Recommendations:
The Other Side of Disappearing by Kate Clayborn. I received an early look at this book and figured I'd just glance at the first few pages but then set it aside and read when I didn't have 45 things to do at once. Well, I didn't set it aside. I consumed this book in gulps that I tried so, so hard to savor over a period of a few days. I wanted to experience every single word but I also needed to know how it work out for everyone involved in this story. I loved this book so much. It's not like anything else I've read recently. The beauty of The Other Side of Disappearing comes from its soft, swirling prose that sucks you in, pulls you under, and holds you captive through the last page. This is true of all of Kate's books though the way this one unfolds is especially engaging.

Only and Forever by Chloe Liese. As I'm sure you can guess, I love long, complex family series and Chloe Liese's Bergman Brothers series is such a perfect example of that. This book gives us something that I find tragically underutilized which is the roommates-to-lovers trope. I love a good roommate romance and this one, this unlikely tale of opposites who have exactly what the other needs, is so gorgeous. Chloe's writing is smart, spicy, and gorgeously immersive. Only and Forever is another Bergman family gem.

This Could Be Us by Kennedy Ryan. I raved about the first in the Skyland series, Before I Let Go, and this one meets that bar. This Could Be Us is a complex tapestry of heart, gravity, emotion, humor, society, passion, and the kind of soul-deep love that feels like a living, breathing thing. The heart of this story is Soledad's journey which does take it into Women's Fiction territory though there is a romance plot. The audios are pristine and I highly HIGHLY recommend them. As always, check content warnings.

My Upcoming Events:
I'll be attending the RomCon Festival in Ashland, MA on May 18 with Loretta Chase, Kosoko Jackson, Cecelia Tran, Caroline Linden, and more. Registration is now open for this event!

Typos and broken links happen. It's okay. The earth is very hot and fragile, and so are we.
