YOUR MINDSET MATTERS
Ari Affirmations
Even on busy days, I make time for my well-being.
Consistency, not perfection, is the key to making progress.
Every workout, no matter how short, fuels my body and mind.
Happy Monday, boo!

Today, I want to talk about a habit that has been a game-changer for me on super busy days: quick workouts.

Let me give you a little backstory.

Back in my investment banking days, I struggled to get a single workout in. Between my early mornings, super late nights, back-to back meetings, never-ending list of deliverables (and the list goes on), the thought of going to the gym felt damn near impossible. I had a gym membership and never used it.

But then, one day, I had a revelation.

I realized I didn't need hours at the gym to work out effectively. Even just 10 minutes of movement at home could make a world of difference in how I felt, both physically and mentally. So, I started incorporating short workouts into my daily routine, squeezing them in wherever I could – between meetings, before breakfast, and even during those rare moments of downtime.

Those quick workouts changed the game for me.

Not only did I notice improvements in my energy levels, mood, and overall well-being, but I also found that I was more focused, more productive, and better able to handle the stresses of my job.

Exercise quickly became a lifeline in the midst of busyness.

Fast forward to today, I'm still a firm believer in the power of quick workouts. Whether I'm juggling deadlines, traveling for work, or simply navigating the ups and downs of everyday life, I always make time to move my body, even if it's just for a few minutes at a time.

Why am I sharing this with you?

I want to remind you that you don't have to sacrifice your health and well-being to achieve success. You have the power to prioritize movement, even when life gets busy, boo!

A quick workout can work wonders for both your body and mind, such as:
  • Boosting Your Energy Levels: Ever notice how even a short burst of exercise can leave you feeling more energized and focused? That's because physical activity gets your blood pumping and releases feel-good endorphins, giving you that much-needed energy boost to tackle whatever the day throws.

  • Improving Your Mood: Speaking of endorphins, those little mood-boosting chemicals are what you need when you're stressed out or overwhelmed. A quick workout can help lift your spirits, leaving you feeling happier and more positive.

  • Increasing Your Productivity: Believe it or not, taking a few minutes to move your body can make you more productive in the long run. Exercise has been shown to improve cognitive function and enhance creativity, so you'll be firing on all cylinders when you return to work.

  • Bettering Your Health: Quick workouts can help improve cardiovascular health, boost metabolism, and strengthen muscles and bones. Plus, regular exercise is key to maintaining a healthy weight and reducing your risk of chronic diseases.
Message: It's not about how long you exercise; it's about making movement a priority, no matter how busy life gets.
