The Grumpy Demon's Sunshine is the first book in my new monster town series,
Fate's Falls. Each book in this new series will feature a new couple and have a happily ever after, but you will get to check in with characters from other books, too. I have more books in this series available to pre-order, and additional stories planned beyond those.
But today, it's time to fall in love with Raz, the big red vengeance demon! (He's a total sweetheart, I promise.)
THE GRUMPY DEMON'S SUNSHINE
RAZBUNARE
I was born in the fires of hell, created to grant humans’ selfish wishes for revenge in exchange for their souls. I exist only to fulfill my purpose. After eons of meting out vengeance, both petty and dire, something sparked inside me—an emotional response. Vengeance demons do not feel things. And yet, I did.
Rather than return to the hell realm, I wandered the earth before settling in Fate’s Falls, a protected place where monsters of all types reside in harmony. There are even some humans in town, including one female who stokes flames inside me that put hellfire to shame.
The lovely coffee barista is too soft. Too small. Too filled with sunshine and goodness to be attracted to a towering, red-skinned, hell-born demon. She will never know my feelings, never return them, but Dela is my purpose now. I would kill for her. I would die for her. But I cannot stay away from her.
DELA
After dying at the hand of my ex-boyfriend, then being returned to life by a reaper, I follow his advice and escape to Fate’s Falls. Not only are reapers real, so are all kinds of fantastic creatures, many of whom reside in the secret small town surrounded by mountains and forests. I’m not afraid of the monsters here, but I didn’t expect to be attracted to one. Especially not a massive, red demon who barely speaks and has the most intense case of resting-grumpy face I’ve ever seen.
When a coincidence—or fate—gives me a chance to get to know Raz, the attraction quickly becomes something deeper. And it’s mutual. Turns out, the hotter-than-hell demon isn’t so grumpy after all. He’s sweeter than a cinnamon roll, and he’s mine for as long as I want him, which might be forever…
