Cöllective, I'm going to keep my message short for this issue. Sidenote regarding the cover art; I see jewelry as a form of protection, amulets, and even weapons. I believe protection for the female body has taken a leave of absence for many, even though there are entire groups that have never collectively been granted complete autonomy and care. This has been the most twisted,  gaslighting Women's History Month for ALL Women! Overall, I've been witnessing in different ways more women being failed by the U.S. healthcare system, simultaneously the system is working for people it is designed to support. Between the deaths of popular Black women to Halle Berry being misdiagnosed with having the worst case of herpes, I have no faith in the current state of our uteruses or mental health. I watched “Shirley” on Netflix to get some inspiration and it did not disappoint me! Shirley Chisholm and Regina King both deserve their flowers. Leaning about how women before me made a way out of nothing, fuels me deeply. Witnessing Black women living their dreams, resting, and healing fuels me too. I hope this issue motivates you to listen to your voice and your body better. I hope you learn or continue to advocate for yourself, your spirit, and your body. Protect ya pussy out here! By any means necessary.
