Does Jacob 5 overwhelm you when you try to study it?  It’s long, and it is an allegory, and sometimes those two things scare people away. It might surprise you that this is one of our most favorite chapters about Jesus Christ in all of scripture.  In this episode we are going to teach you our favorite ways to study Jacob 5.  We think you might learn some things about this chapter that you have never noticed before.  Things that will make you love it as much as we do.  Prepare your heart to love this chapter in Jacob!  This week in Come, Follow Me we will be studying Jacob 5-7 in the Book of Mormon.

Write the new things about the character of Christ you learn from this chapter.  Which learning is your favorite? 

Have you ever studied the allegory of the olive tree looking particularly for what you might learn about the character of Christ?  Try it this time.  Write down the words, phrases, and actions that teach you about the character of Christ.  Then write down how this knowledge will bless the people that you love.
