National Women's Health Week
Endometriosis affects approximately 385M women and people assigned female at birth. Looking ahead into May, Afynia recognizes National Women's Health Week as an annual event to highlight women’s health issues and encourage gender diverse individuals of all ages to prioritize their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
 
This year, National Women's Health Week takes place from May 12th to 18th.

Expanding Clinical Adoption of EndomiR
EndomiR is now being offered to patients in several new fertility clinics across Canada (some spotlighted below).
 

03. NEW BLOG POST.
Endometriosis & Assisted Reproductive Techniques
People with endometriosis are thought to be more likely to struggle to get pregnant. The benefit of different treatment options for infertile women with endometriosis are unclear. Results of systematic review showed that the treatment with a gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) agonists for 3 to 6 months prior to IVF treatment increased the probability of pregnancy by fourfold.
