During our first quarterly work day of the year, our community came together to accomplish an impressive number of tasks, demonstrating our shared commitment to maintaining a functional and welcoming space.  From upgrading equipment in the woodshop to deep cleaning, laser maintenance, and general space improvements, every effort made a significant impact. 

A huge thank you to all who contributed to making this workday a resounding success, especially Shane who organized and made sure everyone was well fed!  Everyone's ongoing support and participation make all the difference in ensuring that our space remains vibrant and accessible to all members.  For a detailed rundown of the day's accomplishments and improvements, check out the full recap below.

We were on TV — no joke!  We're delighted to announce that Asmbly had the honor of being featured on FOX 7 Austin during Amplify Austin, with Jordan and Valerie stepping into the spotlight.  Their dedication and passion were evident as they participated in a live interview while showcasing a laser project with Tierra from Good Day Austin.

This opportunity allowed us to highlight the vibrant community and innovative projects that define Asmbly.  A special thanks to Jordan and Valerie for their fantastic representation of our space on live television, as well as Shane and all the community members who helped prepare the space for this shoot!

Our Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are now on Meetup (along with several other events!). 

Join us for an open social time with other creatives outside the shop!  This is a great way to meet other makers in and outside of the Asmbly community — all are welcome.
