As we all know life is a journey and most of the time, we have no idea where our paths will take us. It can be exciting, scary, sad, joyful, sometimes all at the same time. This is how I am feeling right now. This e-news is bittersweet for me. Why? Because I am letting people know that December 31, 2026, will be my last day at North Country Spiritual Pathways and Wellness. I will be moving forward onto a new path in 2027.
So, why am I telling you all this now when its more than two years away? Well for one I know some of my clients will have anxiety about this and I want to be able to help them process this news. And two because by announcing my future retirement as a spiritual counselor and energy healer makes it real for me and allows me to begin the process of letting go.
This decision doesn't come lightly, in fact it's one I struggle with for I love my work and my clients. So, why have I made this decision? For two reasons, one as you all know I live with chronic pain and that is only going to get worse as I get older and doing the table work is getting harder to do. And two I feel my path changing, to what I don't know yet, but I am trusting the process.
After I retire from North Country Spiritual Pathways and Wellness, I am hoping to be able to offer private sound baths for people in the comfort of their own homes, that is one plan anyway. Beyond that I am not sure what the future holds, but I do feel good about it and scared in some ways, but I know no matter where I end up it will be exactly where I am supposed to be.
I do know one thing for sure I will miss ALL my clients. It is a privilege to walk with you while you figure out your own paths and journey. My hope is to sell my business so all my clients will still be able to receive the services they have come to love. If I do sell it will be to a practitioner that shares the same compassion, love, and empathy I have shared with all of you.
We are blessed in our community to have an abundance of healers and counselors, and I feel confident that after I am gone other doors will open for all of us. The unknown can be scary, but it is facing the unknown and our fears that allows growth and opportunities.
I will continue to accept new clients throughout 2024 and 2025. But here is a list of some local healers in case you want to check some out. Please note my retirement is not until 2027! I do not want people panicking about this announcement, I will help you with your transition with another practitioner.
Again, this is bittersweet, but it is also exciting for me. I am eager to see where spirit moves me and what my future holds. Each and every one of you are a blessing to me, you have all taught me so much about myself and life and it is because of all of you I have the courage to say yes to this opportunity.
