Hello from the enormous desk in my little apartment, and welcome back to Fieldwork, my newsletter about writing and photography. I have news:

 

I'm making a photo book!

 

I brought my fanciest film camera to Paris last year with the goal of capturing something about the city, some essence, and turning it into a photo book. I spent countless hours roaming the streets and returned with hundreds of photos.

 

This newsletter will reveal what it looks like to make those photos into a book.

 

I hope this series inspires you to make something you love, too.
