These days, I'm busy at work on my next historical romance series! Fun fact: the series is still a secret! My publisher, Tyndale, and I will be rolling out more details as we draw closer to release but in the meantime, I'm 2 chapters from hitting THE END on the 1st novel!

I'm excited to share more soon and while writing, we've been working up some fun goodies to make the experience more special for you readers. Stay tuned for more details including the series reveal and title reveal. I can't wait to get to share this new collection with you!

This week, we went on a hike. A steep hike. At one point, it involved using our hands just to scale the rocky terrain. I'll admit, I became afraid and nearly turned back. My husband helped me find an alternate route. As we climbed, we drew closer to the sky where trees grew amid the grasses and rocky terrain.

It wasn't until this altitude that I could hear it: birdsong. What peace that brought. As the wind blew across the mountains, and birds sang out for the warmth of the spring day, it was a reminder that sometimes we must trust our way along a higher, steeper road. Along the way, God's blessings are there.

This time last year, I was about to be surprised with a proposal in an apple orchard from the dearest man I know. So began our sweet marriage adventures including a DIY wedding that was on a budget, with family involved every step of
