Hello GFA!

Last Thursday, the budget committee chose not to change last year’s budget. That means no money is allocated for school breakfast or no-cost meals for reduced-priced kids next year.

The committee made clear its priorities are education and children’s mental health and – you can’t have those priorities and let our students go to school hungry. Now, the negotiations between the Governor’s office and legislative leaders begin.
