Dr Alejandro Echeverry, Associate Professor of Practice Food Safety at Texas Tech University, is Texas Food Processor’s Association liaison to the Texas Tech student body. He will be speaking to us about the recruitment challenges and forecasts of Food Science majors and how our support for these students plays a pivotal role in helping this industry sustain the needs of American food security and innovation.
Call for Auction Items
As we near our annual conference we are seeking donated auction items. Our auction continues to be paramount in TFPA’s mission to fundraise. The silent and live auctions serve as the primary way we can continue to expand our cause. Not only are the donors and bidders indispensable but the items in which are donated have become intrinsic in value to our scholarship recipients. Donations big and small are needed. Guided hunts and fishing, wine, art, gift baskets serve as a lively portion of our annual auction.
