[Insert comment about it being mid April already here!] Truly, I am shocked that we are 3.5 months into the year. I get immense creative energy around this time every year and my life of ideas and projects starts looking like a CVS receipt. April is when I would start my 100 day challenges in the past, two of which were 100 days of mindfulness. Just yesterday I found myself looking up pottery classes for next month, totally forgetting that I am in the middle of a pretty time intensive personal project (that I am building up the courage to share more about soon).

In the spirit of creativity and inspiration, here is what has been getting my juices flowing this month.

This creative music video about starting a garden by my talented friend is such a treat. If you watch, please tell him Gina says hello in the comments!

This podcast episode about the astrological significance of the eclipse was interesting and gave me a bit to mull over. I say take what resonates and skip the rest.

I finally succumbed to the vest trend and I honestly wish it didn't take me so long. Vests are classic and so versatile! I love this little olive green Madewell vest I found in store while my friend was visiting me last week (it's on sale for $20 now!). I usually wouldn't have gone for it but she urged me to try it on and I have worn it multiple times already!

My husband and I have been playing New York Times puzzles together after the baby's bath and bedtime routine is done. Connections is our favorite and it's proven to be a nice way to connect and transition into our evening together after a long day of work and parenting.

I finally picked up my kindle again and I am finishing Behold the Dreamers in the scarce quiet moments. I am ashamed to say I forgot how much I love reading. Scrolling has been terribly overstimulating for me so getting lost in a story is refreshing. I get all of my kindle reads from my library via the Libby app by the way!

I didn't realize I was neglecting items in my closet because it was too cumbersome to iron them until a couple weeks ago. I was gifted the Nori steam press iron that doesn't require an ironing board and it has been a game changer. I even wrote a review on it!

Last, but not least, I am trying out Frownies for fine lines and wrinkles. I have noticed the lines on my forehead get deeper and although I am all for aging gracefully I don't see the harm in slowing down the visible signs a bit. These patches are a non-invasive way to reduce the appearance of lines and have been around since 1889! The reviews on TikTok convinced me to try so I'll report back if they are legit.
