Happy Sunday First name / girlfriend! We are on volume 16 of The Sunday Series and today we're talking about putting pen to paper and writing a vision for our lives.
As I sit down in the clubhouse of my building to write this email, I'm filled with an overwhelming sense of renewed gratitude for this beautiful community we've built together. I'm just a lil' country girl from Charleston, South Carolina yet I've managed to build an online community of over 300 women (and men!) where I send emails (almost) weekly and they have the ability to truly help you live a better life.
Today, I want to delve deep into the wisdom of a verse from the Bible that resonates deeply with the essence of what I'm going through in this season of my life: "Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he who reads it may run." Transparently speaking, with my recent layoff in December and this brutal job market--I have had to refocus and renew the vision that I have for my life so that I can remember why I cannot give up. I was browsing journal prompts on Pinterest and came across this particular one below. I answered each question in my journal and it was the “Aha!” moment that I so desperately needed.
When I think about the home I want to live in, the places I want to visit when traveling, and hobbies I'll develop over the years they all have one thing in common: They require me to keep going. Giving up in a tough season where we've endured so much is the easiest thing to do but ask yourself “If I gave up today, how much closer would I be from the life I envision?” I want a beautiful five bedroom home with a large backyard, to be able to play golf in the middle of the day on a random Tuesday, and my bills paid in full, in advance. If I were to give up in this season, I would be even further from making any of these things happen.
I encourage you to read the prompts below and answer each one with intention in your journal. We are in the second quarter of 2024 First name / girlfriend,we don't have time to play small. Remember, clarity breeds action, and the clearer you are about your vision, the more effortlessly you'll move towards it. As I often tell my 5 AM Wake Up Club, nothing is off limits to you. You could very well become the first millionaire in your family. You can live a life where you can enjoy the fruits of your labor through a peaceful home and hobbies.
I don't know who this message is for, but First name / girl get up. Get your fire back, write that vision down and work on it everyday until it becomes your reality.
Hey First name / girlfriend, I love you and I believe in you. I need you to believe again.
Here's your affirmation for this week:
My vision is crystal clear, and I align my thoughts, words, and actions with the reality I wish to create.
I hope this email blesses you. Would you do me a favor and forward it to a friend who needs the motivation to keep going?
