OUR MISSION
We are a secular homeschool co-op dedicated to providing learning and social opportunities for our children while cultivating an environment based around a more holistic way of living!
We strive to create a positive, peaceful, fun space filled with good energy and holistic minded, homeschooling families looking for a like-minded community!
AGES
We currently have families with children ages infant through 13 years old!
We split the children up into ages for their classes based on their age. Currently we have:
* Nursery (infant - 2 years old)
* 3-4 year old class
* 5-6 year old class
* 7-8 year old class
* 9-10 year old class
* 11-13 year old class
The age groups are subject to change based on the amount of each of age that we enroll in that school year.
CLASSES
Our classes are centered around enrichment learning and socialization for homeschooling families!
Some examples of classes we have done are gym/movement, art, music, foreign languages, home economics, nature, herbology, STEM, science experiments, and more!
We rely on family participation, so we're always looking for families with knowledge and passions to share in classes with our children!
EXTRA SOCIAL GATHERINGS
We do several field trips every year! We aim to plan at least one per month, and we are always open to field trip ideas from the group!
We also have several holiday parties and activities throughout the year such as:
* Halloween party with trunk or treat
* Winter party with art show and a Maker's Market where the children can create their own business and set up a table to sell their products
* Valentines Party with a Valentine exchange
* Field day and end of the year celebration
WHEN + WHERE?
We currently meet on Tuesdays from 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Our current co-op rental space:
Hope Born in Christ Church

Lancaster, PA
We meet September - April, taking a 6 week winter break December - January.
COST
The current co-op membership fee is $200 per year, per family. This fee includes our rental space, insurance, helps cover class supplies, and holiday celebrations for our children!
The only thing not included is field trips, and any extra things that we decide to do as a group throughout the year.
FAMILY PARTICIPATON
It takes all of us to run our group together as a community! We ask an adult from each family to sign up for volunteer roles. This could be teaching, assisting in a class, helping with set up or clean up, planning and carrying out parties and events, or being a field trip coordinator!
Brittany Snyder is our volunteer coordinator, and she does her very best to help each family into volunteer roles that are a good fit for them!
HOLISTIC STANDARDS
We understand that we are all in different parts of our holistic living journey, and we respect that! We also understand that holistic may mean something different to each family!
Currently, these are the standards that we have in place for our co-op, and we ask that each family respect and follow these guidelines in our co-op space:
* We are a fragrance free environment, We ask that perfume and synthetic fragrance be avoided in our co-op space.
* We use co-op provided toxin free cleaners and cloths to clean the co-op space.
* For parties and events where food is involved such as trunk or treat and the Valentines exchange, we exchange healthier options for treats, and we have a provided list of ingredients that we avoid.
* For home economics class, we have a provided list of ingredients that we avoid.
* We love any class topics that align with holistic living that can be brought to our community! We ask that if families have knowledge and passion about any topics that align, that they consider sharing them as a class!
