A newsletter on design & real estate in the DMV
_______
Friends, hello – happy, happy Friday! We are officially in double digit territory for this newsletter. It's been an exciting few months, and I'm grateful that over 500 of you have chosen to welcome me into your inbox. Cheers to you!

Some real estate & design highlights to celebrate from the past week:
  • Last week I ventured over to the Red Fox Inn in Middleburg – if you are looking for a very English countryside-esque escape without the plane ticket, I couldn't recommend a night or two more highly. I've enjoyed dinner downstairs at the main restaurant as well as upstairs at the Night Fox Pub, and both were truly fabulous.
  • For opens last weekend, I made it by 2011 Foxhall Road NW and 330 Maryland Ave NE. The Foxhall listing was sharp – a huge home, but very luxurious and bright. The Maryland Ave listing is quite charming, and I appreciate that each bedroom on the upper floor had its own patio space!
  • I shared this reel from a gorgeous listing in Old Town, and I will admit, I've never spent so long editing a video! The music was tricky, but I think it was worth the extra effort – the song snuck into all of my dreams that evening.
  • I had the opportunity to peek inside a private home that I shared on stories a few weeks back. It was SO fun to walk through the home with the owners and to hear all of the stories about pieces they have collected and treasured over the years. More of this, please!
  • I also presented an initial design presentation for a home in Georgetown, where I am helping them with their family room and living room space. We are all very excited with how the vision is coming together, and it's so fun to stretch my creative design muscles in this way!
Thank you for following along! If you are looking to buy or sell a home with the DMV, or to be put in touch with the region's best design talent, please get in touch.

I am definitely eyeing this gem in Capitol Hill – two parking spaces, four bedrooms, and lovely finishes within a short walk of Union Station and the Capitol? Say less.

Other recommendations:

This one in Georgetown is stunning, but I admittedly have a soft spot for herringbone floors.
Some love for Woodley Park! This one is super sweet and feels so spacious.
This porch of this one in Capitol Hill reminds me of homes in New Orleans.
The outside of this one is quirky and I wish the inside were just the same!
The kitchen and roof deck in this condo off of Logan Circle are hard to beat!
Every time I drive through the Palisades, I'm always a bit surprised and left thinking, this is in DC?! There's no way. It really does feel like another world. I am intrigued by this one currently on the market for $5.3M – some of the interior moments are a bit dated, but there's a pool and the front facade is sharp.
I audibly gasped multiple times while scrolling through another Zoe Feldman home, this time one in Capitol Hill. I'm shook! Truly exceptional. I wonder if I can get inside of this one – send me a note if you know the owner, pretty please!
