POV: you're still struggling with your content creation.

But you're also still posting random content and trying to see what sticks.

Listen up for a second, First name / friend, because THERE'S A BETTER WAY!

It's no secret that I'm BFFs with the concept of strategic content creation. But before you tell me you've heard this a million times and still don't know what it means, let me share my take.

Your Instagram strategy is the foundation for your content creation.

When you've got one that actually makes sense for your business (and not some outdated advice like “post 5 times a week at the same time each day”), creating content stops feeling like a constant uphill battle. Because you're not starting from scratch every time - you're following a plan.

An effective Instagram strategy has 5 main elements: Branding, Engagement, Entertainment, Education, Transformation.

Branding: Defining your brand's voice, values, visuals, and mission lays the groundwork for your content. When you create with your branding in mind, you stop wasting time fiddling with graphics and changing fonts, and you only post content that aligns with your overall business goals. And that means every piece of content you post is building your know, like, and trust factor.

Engagement: It's called social media for a reason! You can engage with your audience in stories (I love to use polls and the question sticker for Q and As), using super simple CTAs in your captions, and starting and maintaining real conversations in the DMs (this is a great way to find out what your people really need!).

Entertainment: Show that personal side of your brand. Share what you're up to in stories, create a fun business-related reel, and don't be afraid to let your personality come through in your captions. Providing content that's entertaining is a great way to create true connections with your audience.

Education: Help your audience to better understand the issues they're facing and why they're struggling. Simplify a task for them, or show them actionable steps to improve their situation. Using educational content shows your people HOW you're able to help them.

Transformation: Get really clear about how your business helps your audience. What will they get out of investing with you? I love using testimonials to showcase transformations, but don't just share a screenshot and walk away. Set up the context of the transformation: what was this client experiencing before they worked with you? What did you do to help? How did that create change and what did that change look like? This way, the testimonial acts as proof for what you're saying and helps your audience really understand the transformation process.

Ok, so does every piece of content your create need to include all 5 parts of the BEEET framework? No!

With Branding as the groundwork, use at least one of the other elements to help you generate and implement your ideas.

This way, all of your content will be both valuable to your audience, and strategic for your business.
