To prepare:
Close all the tabs you may have open in your browsers to make sure Zoom flows smoothly.
Use headphones for better quality sound.
Create a sacred space for you to dive deep. Get cozy, light a candle, some incense, prepare some tea / cacao for the first portion of our session and feel free to have a notebook at hand to take notes before we start the singing practices.
Please wear loose clothing. Avoid tight jeans and anything that may be tight to your root, belly, chest, waist, throat.
Please try to stay off your phone as much as possible to gift this moment to yourself and the spirit of your voice.
Singing, being heard and also being seen can be a vulnerable practice for some. I encourage you to leave your camera on to uplift the energy of our beautiful group if possible. We will all move through this in flow together.
Have some tissues nearby just in case.
No musical instruments are needed, but if you feel called to have one nearby for your own personal connection, feel free!
And… start calling in the spirit of your voice before our call, welcome it into your space and start feeling your relationship with it.
