Dear First name / friend, we are so excited to welcome you to our INSIDER newsletter. Each month, we pop in with some highlights from around the community as well as some market updates. If you want to chat directly with us, just hit reply. We love hearing from you!
 
During the pandemic, we bought an electric tandem bike from Pedego La Jolla. It was one of the best things we've done! We named her “Daisy” and we treat her very much like you would your favorite family pet. If we have the choice of driving or riding Daisy somewhere, we always choose Daisy. She is the perfect companion for exploring and staying active all year round.

There are so many bike-friendly paths and roads throughout San Diego County and it's such a great way to get to see the area from a vantage point you just can't experience from a car or even on foot.
 
Having this bike has allowed us to not only enjoy our own backyard, but we have been able to ride from Oceanside to San Diego and everywhere in between. We have also loaded her up and taken her to Santa Cruz, Monterey, Paso Robles and most recently, Temecula Valley Wine Country. 
 
Who knew biking could be so much fun? We've made new friends. Explored new areas. And, discovered some great spots all thanks to Daisy.
 
If you're an e-bike rider, we created a San Diego Pedego Group on Facebook where we all share tips, routes and invitations for group rides. If you'd like to join the group, here's the link. It's a great way to make new connections and explore the area!

Market Update for Ocean Hills Country Club
 
In April 2024, the Ocean Hills Country Club real estate market saw 9 new listings and 10 homes sold. Among the sold properties, 5 sold for more than asking price, while 4 were sold below asking price. The average time on the market for sold homes was 4.3 days. Notably, 3 homes were sold before they officially hit the market, with an average time on market of 6.1 days for those listed traditionally.

Blue Zone Tip of the Month
 
Are you familiar with the Blue Zones? Blue Zones are specific regions across the globe where people live significantly longer, healthier lives compared to the rest of the world. We are always working on ways to make our life more ‘Blue Zone’ friendly. I shared a post on our website about How to create your own Blue Zone lifestyle. Each month, we will share a Blue Zone tip or recipe here in the newsletter. I think this one is perfect for May.
