A 9 Day Spring Feng Shui Experience
I invite you to experience 9 consecutive days of Spring Feng Shui (or 18 or 27 if you wish to spread it out!) and rejoice in the spring energies of renewal, refreshment and rebirth. And if you need any of the supplies below, reach out and we can arrange to pop in the email for you. Enjoy!
1. Bring in a burst of joyful energy by adding some pops of bright happy colors such as gold, yellow, hot pink, red, orange or lime green into your home. This is so-easily done with flowers, bowls of fresh fruits, candles, décor (shower curtain, towels, throw pillows, table cloth, art), or even your outfits.
2. Fill your home with beautiful music, art and poetry.
3. Put out food for hummingbirds and song birds and invite their beauty, joy and music to surround your home.
4. Refresh your front entrance or “Mouth of Qi” where opportunities, good fortune and blessings enter your home and life! Sweep and wash down for your front path, porch and door. Do you need a new door mat? Ones with birds and flowers are especially auspicious. Add some cheery flowers in pots or hanging baskets. Ring your door bell 9 times and imagine ringing in Helpful People, prosperity, vital health, joy, good luck and infinite blessings!
5. Squeeze the juice of 9 kaffir limes (found at Asian grocery stores) into a pail of purified water. Or add 18-27 drops of organic sweet orange, kaffir lime or frankincense essential oil.
With a clean white cloth and this special water, wipe down all the qi entry points in your living and working spaces, beginning at your front door (inside and out). Then move on to your other exterior doors and windows followed by the bedroom doors. Visualize washing away any inauspicious energies and welcoming fresh, new and revitalized beginnings!
Pour the remaining water down every drain in your home as you visualize washing away any inauspicious energies.
6. Place 18-27 drops sweet orange oil into a large glass spray bottle with fresh, filtered water. Shake vigorously and visualize the light of the Deity of your Heart filling the bottle. Beginning at the front door, circumambulate through your home or workspace in a clockwise direction misting upwards. Visualize fresh, auspicious and cleansing energy and light filling your spaces!
7. Place fresh, colorful and scented flowers in every room of your home. You can choose specific flowers to support your energy and aspirations with my article “Joyful Feng Shui with Flowers”

8. Make a spring simmer pot by filling your slow-cooker ¾ full with purified water and 9 drops of organic lemon essential oil and 9 drops of organic sweet orange or mandarin orange oil. Add freshly cut slices of lemon and orange plus 3 sprigs of fresh rosemary. Simmer on low for the day (topping up water as needed).
9. This isn’t the most “glamorous” of Feng Shui practices, but a Feng Shui toilet cleanse is incredibly potent and incredibly effective for changing the energy! And it’s even more potent if you can do it on a Remove Day and you can order yours

But anytime is beneficial! Turn on the lights in your bathrooms and open the windows if you have. Play some mantras or spiritual music. If you have it, light some sandalwood incense or Tibetan medicinal incense. Scrub your toilets with your favorite non-toxic cleaner as well as 9-18 drops of organic essential oil. My favorites are organic sweet orange, pine or kaffir lime—all profoundly powerful for Feng Shui energetic cleansing. You could also squeeze some fresh juice from lemon, oranges or grapefruit for the scrub. Ideally, use a coconut plant fiber brush (or use whatever you have) to clean the bowl.
Afterwards, if the incense has gone out, light some more. Keep the bathroom lights on until you go to bed.
