WE HAVE KICK OFF
It's Official!
The Graner & Subervi campaign for Bernards Township Committee enjoyed a successful kickoff event at Pleasant Valley Park on May 4. Notable speakers included CD-7 Congressional Candidate Sue Altman, as well as County Commissioners Sara Sooy and Melonie Marano, County Clerk Steve Peter, Sheriff Darrin Russo and Bernards Township Committeewoman Ana Duarte McCarthy.

Liz Graner and Adam Subervi each addressed attendees and spoke to their strong backgrounds of service and their enthusiasm and commitment to making Bernards Township an even safer, more inclusive, and dynamic place to live. The event also included music, light bites, and plenty of opportunity for all to enjoy meeting and getting to know the BTDC’s awesome 2024 Bernards Township Committee ticket.

Fun Facts About Adam
  1. Fitness first. Adam started running and working out while in high school and has had a pretty consistent workout regimen since then.  "Physical fitness is near and dear to me, and I firmly believe it is the fountain of youth. I am looking forward to running the Municipal Alliance Twilight Challenge 5k!"
  2. In tune. After playing in bands during high school, Adam returned to music in his late thirties. “I had always wanted to learn the guitar, and around that time, my son started playing piano. It became something we did together." Adam plays guitar and sings backup vocals for the Ice Cold Chili Peppers, a Red Hot Chili Peppers cover band.
  3. Double duty. During the Iraq War, Adam served two roles:  He was an embedded legal advisor to one of the commanders on the ground. He was also a member of a civil affairs team responsible for working with Iraqi citizens to help rebuild their cities following the fall of Saddam Hussein’s regime.
  4. Famous classmates. Adam went to school and played baseball with Academy Award winner Casey Affleck. He also knew Matt Damon, a high school classmate. Adam and Casey appeared together in some of the high school's drama club productions.
