YOUR MINDSET MATTERS
Ari Affirmations
It's never too late to rewrite my story.
I stand tall in my truth & unapologetically embrace who I am.
Knowing when to let go is a strength, not a weakness.

Happy Tuesday, boo!

In a world that often glorifies perseverance, I've come to realize that sometimes, the bravest thing I can do is throw in the towel.

So, over the past 5 years, I've created a habit of quitting to protect my mental health, my well-being, and my sense of self.

And let me tell you, it's been such an empowering and enlightening journey.

I am a quitter…and damn proud of it.

In today's newsletter, I'm excited to share a little insight into how I've embraced the power of quitting and why I believe you should, too.

Let's Talk About The Power of Quitting…

I want to start off by debunking the myth that quitting is a sign of weakness.

Spoiler alert: it's not.

In fact, knowing when to quit takes an incredible amount of strength and self-awareness. It's about recognizing when something – whether it's a job, a relationship, or a mindset – is no longer serving you and having the courage to walk away..

For me, quitting has looked like:
  • Quitting Toxic Work Environments: I've walked away from jobs and collaborations where my worth was not recognized or valued. Because let's face it, life's too short to spend it working for or with people who don't appreciate you.

  • Quitting Unhealthy Relationships: I've cut ties with friendships that were draining, toxic, or simply not aligned with the person I wanted to be. Setting boundaries and surrounding myself with supportive, uplifting people has been a game-changer for my mental health.

  • Quitting Self-Diminishing Habits: I've stopped playing small to make others comfortable and have embraced standing tall in my own truth. Whether it's speaking up for myself, setting boundaries, or prioritizing self-care, I've learned that putting my needs first is not selfish – it's necessary.

  • Quitting the "Hustle Culture" Mentality: I've waved goodbye to the toxic hustle culture that glorifies overwork and burnout. Taking breaks, prioritizing rest, and recognizing the importance of work-life integration have been key to preserving my mental well-being.

  • Quitting Limiting Beliefs: I've let go of the belief that it's 'too late' to make meaningful changes in my life. Whether it's pursuing a new passion, embarking on a career change, or seeking therapy to heal past traumas, I've learned that growth and transformation are always possible, no matter your age or circumstances.

Now, let's not forget that quitting isn't just about walking away from things – it's also about making space for new beginnings and healthier habits. By letting go of what no longer serves us, we create room for growth, joy, and fulfillment in our lives.

Here's to knowing when to grit and when to quit, to prioritizing our mental health, and to embracing the power of saying goodbye to what no longer serves us.

Your mental well-being is worth it, and trust me, your future self will thank you, boo!
