Our May meeting will focus on the 2024 legislative debrief on food policy. We will learn about the ‘barriers & breakthroughs’ around HB 5048 Universal School Breakfast from Representative Rachel Khanna and SB 191 Food Scrap Diversion from Julie DesChamps, Founder and Chair of Waste Free Greenwich. We will also discuss the implications of Greenwich High School opting-out of the National School Lunch Program.
