Hi friends,
Four years ago, I hired a coach for 10 months who, in our bi-weekly meetings, turned on the lights whenever I felt stuck and needed a new set of lenses to see differently.
I have also had a success partner for six years, which is the new cool name I am using to call my accountability partner. She has been listening to me every week as I share the progress of my goals and noticing where I am holding myself back, and I do the same for her.
I have circles of close friends and family members with whom I share my life updates and who, in turn, celebrate my successes.
Yes, I am lucky to be getting support in different ways.
Nonetheless, my oldest and most available life coach and companion remains journaling, my constant change catalyst for as long as I can remember.
✏️ Journaling has always captured my happiness and misery.
✏️Writing my grief and anger down helped me process them better.
✏️Writing my “stormy” first drafts helped me have better conversations with those I love.
✏️ Journaling always offered space between me and the voice in my head that I thought was me. I only understood my inner critic when I let it speak on paper. Thanks to journaling, I could observe my thoughts as I see them locked into the page instead of being overcome by them.
✏️Writing my affirmations helped me believe I could liberate myself from past beliefs that no longer serve me. In fact, I could not remember my affirmations when I needed them until I started repeating them in my journal every morning.
✏️ Journaling enabled me to tap into my inner wisdom, which has been there since I was born but was too noisy inside to hear.
As you may know by reading this newsletter or
listening to my
podcast, Journaling has been a habit of mine since my teenage years. People always asked me how to journal, so I worked hard to develop training material to help you adopt it as a habit you, too, can learn.
Today, I am happy to announce that I am offering the
Recorded Journaling Workshop to you for the first time. You can join instantly to learn all about Journaling and reap its numerous benefits in your life.
What I know for sure:
✏️ Journaling will always serve you. Even when you hire a life coach, you will still use Journaling when your coach asks you to contemplate your experiences and see what newfound awareness you come across.
✏️When you set new goals, you will need journaling to reflect on your past and envision your most cherished future. Having a consistent journaling habit will make reflection second nature.
✏️ Journaling is the foundation for a creative, self-aware, and deliberate life, and I believe this with all my heart.
Let me guide you and support you as you take your first steps, drawing on my own experience and the many books I read about it.
If you are a seasoned journaler, let me share some new and FUN methods you can try and experiment with.
In this 2.5-hour recorded video course, I’ll teach you
ten types of Journaling and show you how to
start this habit immediately. I will
also provide
a PDF of over 50 journaling prompts to help you face a blank page. The content and training will be in
Arabic.
