Jon is the kindhearted wizard behind the scenes.

 

He ran from our front door in Pope Valley to our building in Napa (52 miles) because he could.

This guy has taught me most of my tricks.

And I have presented many plot twists along our path… 

We met in 2003; he was wearing a Mets hat and a navy blue Puma t-shirt and I thought, yummy!

He was really the first boy to see my potential and asked if I wanted to do this life together and thankfully, I was smart enough to have said yes.

We are celebrating 18 years married this month.

A lot of life is emblematic of our mindset.

Jon was born with the Sun in Gemini. The constellation of Gemini is ruled by the fastest and closest planet to Earth, Mercury. Mercury rules the mind; where our ideas land first, our imagination runs free, where we store memories from yesterday and dream into tomorrow. 

 

Perhaps to others we have run a fast race, but to one another, it’s been pretty well paced with many opportunities and reasons to throw in the towel.

 

Just as an acorn is coded to become an oak tree, we too are embedded with purpose and our purpose unfolds over time.
 

I love time. I also (strangely) love discipline because I have seen the benefits from not quitting.

 

The highest expression of Gemini is the spirit of a beginner’s mind; a curious child ready to learn. And that is what this season is all about: Pure potential with the mindset of what’s meant won’t miss.

 

It’s like, the more we let go, the taller the tree will grow.

 

So I ask, what is your specialty?

What were you curious about as a child?

What is the story of you, you are telling today?

 

When we live our questions, our answers become clearer and we become lighter, less burdened, more childlike.
