School's out for the summer…

School's out for…well, for two of the Twinx, at least for a week. LOL

That's right, the official start to summer has taken effect and this weekend will start the official kick-off to summer in the US with Memorial Day.

Yesterday, Mama Lynn and I grabbed Ro and Lex from their half day (and finals as their freshman year wrapped up) before heading to Xan and Dan's 8th Grade Celebration.

I am now officially ONLY a high school mom.

That's a hard thing to reconcile in my brain because it feels like just yesterday they were starting Kindergarten and now they're all in high school.

How the heck did that happen?

And if it nostalgia is that bad now, what will it be like in three years when the girls are graduating and in four years when the boys are right behind them?

I. AM. NOT. OK.

It's hard to believe that on May 21st I celebrated my third year as a published author! It still doesn't seem real that three years ago I released Written in the Beat into the wild! Have you read the instalove, rock star, virgin heroine romance?
