// the mood & vibes this week
— hi, friends :) i've shifted our newsletter cadence to biweekly. as i imagine our next iterations, this makes the most sense.
— it's been a blur of a month. i don't know if you can relate, but when people ask me what i did last week, i immediately have to go pull up my photos app, because my goldfish/eroded-with-short-form-content brain cannot remember sh*t.
— ah yes, memory is kicking in. last week was full of travel. i journeyed north and south from my canyon.
— north: went home to the bay area for a brand collaboration moment with a climate-conscious tech company. it was so fun! i previewed the product, hung out with the other creators, and met the founders. i also got to visit with family & friends while i was there, which was absolutely delicious.
— south: after getting home from norcal, i drove down to san diego for my long-awaited half marathon! my sister & i stayed at our dad's house, as he lives about ten blocks from the sandy shores of pacific beach. it was honestly the best weekend i've had in a while. we woke up at 5AM, and the race started at 6:30. i am proud to say i ran all 13.1 miles without stopping (except for a few seconds at water stations!) and finished in about 2.5 hours. so much training went into this moment, and it was grueling, but such a thrill. after, my family and i had a series of incredible meals, relaxed on the beach, and enjoyed the early summer san diego vibes. there's something in the air down there; everyone seems so laid-back, tan, and no more than a few hours out from diving into the ocean.
— in terms of real estate, things are definitely shaking up in the los angeles market. i've written 7 offers this year, so i have a pretty good pulse. in simple terms: she's hot. people are out and about, and the pretty, well-located houses are getting snatched up. our team has been on fire this spring, and recently sold some incredible properties we've listed.
— 3 favorites: a $3.2M estate in los feliz designed by a good friend, a mount washington pied-à-terre for $1.05M, and the o'neill duplex, a pristine midcentury jewel box in silver lake. yowza.
— i am prepping some special listings coming this summer, and on the hunt for gems with my buyers. definitely excited to keep growing my business helping clients find all the cool (read: slightly granola) houses in town. so, if you're looking for a gem, you know where to find me ;-).
— overall … definitely in a planning phase. dreaming about the next seasons of my life and what they'll look like. planning summer travels to the mountains. and hoping to share slices of it all with you along the way.
