Mosiah 29-Alma 4

A note from Grace & David
Often an anti-Christ will use language that is close but counterfeit to what the Lord would teach.  Their words are “almost” right.  How is that true of Nehor?  If you have ever wondered what the difference between the world and the church is, you can find it here.  Most importantly, you will learn how the word of God can heal all of this.  This week in Come, Follow Me, we will be studying Mosiah 29-Alma 4.

Here are the segments you can look forward to:

This week we are studying how to stay true to the Spirit when the world is filled with iniquity.

Teaching Tips for Kids
Have your kids get an extra piece of paper and draw a church building on it.  Then read through Alma 1:25-30 and Alma 4:13.  Have them draw pictures inside the church of what the church is supposed to feel like.

Teaching Tips for teens
Look at the top two boxes.  Take some time to describe the church vs. the world.  Next, take time to study the two boxes where the church is described six years later.  What do you learn about staying strong?  How can you use what you learned to hold onto your belief today?

Teaching tips for individuals and couples
In these chapters we watch the progression from desiring what is right and becoming complacent with iniquity in the land.  After filling out each of these sections take some time to reflect on where you are in the gospel of Jesus Christ.  What would help you remain strong?
