Dear First name / friend, If you've heard of “June Gloom” or “May Gray”, it's definitely a thing around San Diego. But, one thing that makes OHCC so special is that it sits just far enough inland to get sunshine even during these two notorious months of ‘gloom’. (Speaking of weather - we added a weather widget to our blog. Next time you are there, you can see the live weather report while browsing our latest posts! Fun, right?)
The photos below were taken on Mother's Day in Ocean Hills Country Club. As you can see, we had beautiful blue skies! We are so blessed to be able to have our family so close by and to enjoy holidays, special events & random get togethers with three (sometimes four) generations. It's one of the main reasons we have chosen to make OHCC home.
And, of course, a new house hit the market the night before, so we loaded up on the golf cart for a quick little tour before lunch. (Apparently, this is our family entertainment these days! lol.)
After the tour, we enjoyed plant-based Sloppy Joe’s with all the fixings and had a nice afternoon on the back patio with the family. If you need a good recipe, let us know. Happy to send it your way. So yummy!
Pro Tip: Always give your guests a few extra minutes to get through the front gate on holidays as it is a popular time for family visits.

Market Update for Ocean Hills Country Club
In May 2024, the Ocean Hills Country Club real estate market saw 9 new listings and 11 homes sold. Among the sold properties, 5 sold for more than asking price, while 3 were sold below asking price. The average time on the market for sold homes was 14 days. Notably, there were 2 homes sold in May that were on the market for 42 and 55 days. The average time on market excluding those 2 homes was 6 days.
