Well…hello First name / Lovely!
Multiple times over the last week I've come to think about how sometimes we need to start new things, and sometimes we need to finish them.
As I finished teaching my Modern Maker Method 12 week course today, students discussed with me what they have planned in the year ahead. Some are starting new adventures, where as some voiced their desires to finish projects they had already started.
I think it's important to make time for both of these, starting and finishing.
Today, I have a question for you:
Are you ready to start something,
or finish something?

READING (BIG SHOCKER!) My birthday was earlier this month and I asked my husband for…you guessed it..books! I submitted to him a list of books from my ‘wish list’ and said “please, no jewelry or anything else - just books!”. He came through. I unwrapped a glorious stack of books and have been happily turning pages ever since.
I'm loving this one from Kellee Wynne Conrad. I'd read a good deal of it and now it's time to bust out my paints and do some colour exploration!

Want to get something done? For me, if something is important, I write it down on the calendar. It seems simple, but it really works.
I use my wall calendar plus my Modern Maker Planner to plan out the work I need to do and then break it into smaller chunks. For instance, this email (because it is important) was in my calendar for today!
