I’m excited to share a story that not only showcases the power of home staging but also highlights how a thoughtful approach can transform even the most dated properties into stunning, market-ready homes.
Recently, I had the pleasure of staging a traditional-style home in Southern Dallas. Built in 1987, this 2810 sqft gem had good bones but was in desperate need of a fresh perspective. The challenge? The seller was reluctant to invest in renovations, including removing dated wallpaper.
When I first walked into the home, I saw beyond the old wallpaper and dated décor. I knew that with the right touch, we could breathe new life into this beautiful property.
Using transitional style furniture and a neutral color palette with pops of sage green, we complemented the existing wallpaper and created a cohesive, modern look.
We staged the living room, dining room, primary bedroom and bath, kitchen, and breakfast nook to highlight the home’s best features.
The result? A stunning transformation that amazed everyone who visited. The sellers and their realtor, Debbie Lemaster from Ebby Halliday, were thrilled with the outcome.
Debbie shared her experience:
