// the mood & vibes this week
— hi, friends :) so much is going on this week, wow.
— let's start with the main event, and then i have major things to tell you. a few days ago, i posted about a collaboration i did with quilt: a climate-conscious organization making waves in home sustainability. essentially, quilt created a modern, design-led iteration of what has always been the most sustainable way to heat/cool your house, heat pumps. & quilt invited me up to northern california for the launch event, which was about an hour away from my hometown.
— i got to see the units in person, meet the founders, and the other creators. i also learned a ton about how our houses impact the environment, which really struck me. i have a deep passion for sustainability as it intersects with architecture, but i think sometimes the granular reality hasn't always been apparent. at the event, i learned that the energy we use in our houses is responsible for 20% of all emissions, and quilt's all-electric ethos drastically reduces impact. which is super rad!
— i don't do collaborations often, but felt really inspired by quilt's climate-centric ethos. you can check out what they do
here. — in terms of all the other things … OMG!
— i am departing for a week to somewhere special on monday for an epic project coming out this summer. all i can say is … you're so not ready. i am internally freaking out about this. i apologize for being so vague, but trust me it's worth it.
— speaking of … feeling all the career wins lately. i don't know if you can relate, but for so long, you're putting work into something, and it takes a lot of grit to persevere through all the stages of learning, growing, and doing. this project i vaguely mentioned is one of those wins. as is the fact that i have a very special listing coming up mid-june, AND the fact that we launched 3 listings TODAY on team bryant \ reichling. yowza! reply to this email for more information on any of them. it's often through telling some of you about our listings, whether it be on email or IG, that i get to meet new wonderful buyer clients. so, if you want the tea on any of the gorgeous houses we listed today, i gotchu. and then we might just go out for $7 coffee to chat about your groovy real estate goals.
