Hi friends,

This year, I have had one deadline for my annual goals that I have been tracking since the beginning of the year: July 1st.

Why July 1st?  As most of you know by now, July is the start of the season when I usually put my goals on hold every year to align with the energy of the season: kids off school, loved ones visiting from abroad, and traveling plans.

But that is not the only reason for my July 1st deadline this year.

In about 50 days, this version of me is leaving for a while, and a more nurturing version will show up to live up to my new role. Yes, dear ones, I am happy to share the big news with you: I am pregnant with my third baby, due in the third week of July.

Thankfully, my pregnancy journey has been healthy, and the baby and I are doing okay.

My kids are excited to meet their new sibling, and I still can’t imagine starting the new mother journey all over now that my kids are 10 and 8 years old.

My two kids were born in mid-winter, so having a summer baby might make those first doctor appointments easier and nightly diaper changes more manageable! I am also excited to take my maternity leave with the kids’ vacation in the summer..

Please pray for a safe delivery, and of course, I will keep you posted over the coming few weeks.

Let’s have some fun. Can you guess the gender of the baby? Hit reply and share your guess. I’d love to hear from you.

Here is your weekly dose of The Sunday Spark ⚡️ a newsletter listing 3 sparks that I thought were worth starting your week with:

1. 📝 After years of using it, I can finally say that Google Keep is my favorite note taking app. Here are 11 reasons and here is an update on its features.

2. ✉️ Visit FutureMe to write a letter to your Future Self then schedule it to be delivered to you on specific dates. My sister used to do this when she was pregnant. I wonder if she still writes those letters. This journaling exercise helps us connect to our future selves, which is key to achieving goals. Note: The website has been sending letters for 22 years!

3. 💬 ✨ This definition of humility resonated. Stay humble and avoid premature advice.

“Humility is the useful opposite of your Advice Monster’s “I’m better than the other person” DNA. It doesn’t mean pretending you know nothing; it doesn’t mean being meek or diminishing yourself so you’re worthless. It means having your feet sufficiently planted—the etymology of “humble” is the Latin word for ground—so you know your strengths and also your weaknesses, your wisdom and also the wisdom that’s in the room. Being humble means that you control less and influence more than you realize, that you’re both important and not that important. It means you know your voice isn’t the only voice, and may not be the best voice. Humility gives you access to a deeper sense and understanding of what’s real about you.”
