Dear First name / friend

As we enter the first month of winter, many of us are already feeling the strain of feed shortages across the region. With the colder weather setting in, it's more important than ever to stay informed and connected.

The Department of State Growth's hardship grants are still available. The are providing one-off payments of up to $5,000 to eligible farm businesses and is open until 30th June.

I am happy to announce that ECPPA has received a funding extension from the TAS Farm Innovation Hub. That means that our Farming Community Engagement and Learning Program can continue to grow and provide education and support to the Primary Producers of the East Coast.

If you have been following us on social media you will have noticed that we have launched our website, and now have a LinkedIn page to go along with our Facebook and Instagram pages. Make sure you follow us.

We have two events coming up this month, run by the ECPPA. The first is a booked out succession workshop at Mayfield on 6th June at Mayfield. On June 27 at Milton, we have a partner event with the Hub about managing in dry times. The event includes dinner, as well a panel discussion hosted by Tahnee with different farmers discussing their management of the current season. There will also be a presentation from BOM about the seasonal outlook, with updates from TasFarmers and the State Government. Click here to book your free tickets.

Please get in touch with me if you have anything to share with your fellow producers, or if you require assistance tracking down resources or information.

Tahnee
