Pride Month Festivities
2024 Nashville Pride Join us to celebrate Nashville’s diverse LGBTQIA+ community in June! Nashville Pride will take place on Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23, at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. The festival will feature queer artists across three stages, with headliners including Tinashe, Billy Porter, Slayyyter, Icona Pop, G Flip, Angie K, and more. Food trucks, live drag performances, and local vendors will be at the festival.
Juneteenth Curbside Schedule Change Juneteenth will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 19. Metro employees and contractors will have the day off. Trash and recycling collection will be delayed by one day, with Friday's collection on Saturday. Convenience Centers will be closed.
Juneteenth615 Celebration
Juneteenth615is Nashville’s celebration of the emancipation of enslaved people in the U.S., first observed in Texas on June 19, 1865. Partnering with the African American Cultural Alliance, Juneteenth615 will host “Taste of Freedom,” at Fort Negley Park starting at 5pm.
