Texas Leadership Summit has some great opportunities available for all of you!  We are excited to be working with Patriot Academy Biblical Citizenship instructors, Kathryn Van Der Pol & Bennie Yates, both Washington County residents, to offer this 8 week course, starting May 2nd.  It will be held every Thursday for 8 weeks from May 2nd - June 27th at the Texas Heritage Event Center in Washington, TX.  You can register now at the link below.
 
We know summer can be a busy time for folks with vacation travel and summer activities.  If you are interesting in taking the courses, please don't sit out of these classes just because you might have to miss a few.  We have online options available for making up any classes you might need to miss or you can tune in remotely the night of the class.  
 
Once we all complete the Patriot Academy Biblical Citizenship classes, we will then have the knowledge and resources to properly form the Washington County Salt & Light chapter.  You can find more information below on what a local Salt & Light chapter is all about and listen to what the Lake Wales, FL Highpoint Church was able to accomplish locally through the work of their Salt & Light chapter.
 
We again have some dynamic newly released TLS Podcasts with morning coming soon.  We are continuing to release 2 new podcasts a month for you.  Don't miss the links to the all the TLS Podcasts below.
 
Be on the lookout for information about our 2024 Texas Leadership Summit that we are planning for this FALL!  If you attended our 2022 Summit or heard about it from someone who was there, then you know what to expect and you will not want to miss this year's Summit!  We cannot wait to share all the information with all of you very soon!

Representative Michael Cloud Biography:
Representative Michael Cloud is a Constitutional Conservative who proudly represents the 27th Congressional District of Texas. Representative Cloud was first elected in a special election in 2018. He defends American values and Constitutional liberties. His time in office has been marked by promoting the booming economy in south Texas, maintaining a strong national defense, and combating anti-American values that work against the American people, rather than for the American people.
 
Since he’s been in office, he has worked hard to strengthen our border, while working towards immigration policies that benefit the American people. Representative Cloud has been actively working with Veterans to ensure they receive the care they need, while simultaneously working to reform some of the issues that plague the Department of Veterans Affairs. He has been a voice for the unborn by protecting religious freedom and working to end taxpayer-funded abortions.
 
His background as a small business owner gives him first-hand insight into the fight against bureaucracy and unnecessary regulations. As a longtime District 27 resident, he understands the needs and intricacies of the district and continuously works to serve and contribute to District 27.
