The latest Express Entry draw was held on May 31, 2024, for Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates. With 3,000 invitations extended and a competitive CRS score of 522 for the lowest-ranked candidate, the Express Entry system continues to offer pathways for skilled individuals seeking to make Canada their new home.

 

On May 30 a CEC draw was also held for Express Entry candidates with a nomination through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). IRCC has held 19 Express Entry draws year to date in 2024, issuing 41,855 ITAs to immigration candidates. 

 

New category-based priority job Express Entry criteria launched in May 2023 allow Canada to extend ITAs to apply to prospective permanent residents who have specified skills, training, or language ability, including STEM occupations

 

Canada has a points-based immigration system called Express Entry. You must have a score of at least 67 points out of a possible 100 Selection Factor criteria before you apply under the Express Entry CRS: 11 Ways to Increase Your Express Entry CRS Score.
