This week’s challenge is also following the birthday theme! Birthday art is popular for art licensing, so it’s a good idea to have a birthday collection in your portfolio. Most birthday art is used on products like cards and gift bags, so including hand-lettering or typography in your illustration is a great way to design with these products in mind. Punny and cheeky messages have been selling well lately, so coming up with a greeting with that vibe will give you an extra leg up in this space! |
