Hello, my name is Jeannie Beier, I'm the Director of Lending at First Southwest Community Fund
I joined FSWCF in April of 2024.
I have over 25 years in the financial industry, spending the last 3 years as a small business lender for a non-profit CDFI. I love being able to help small business, and families build generational wealth within
their communities. Watching them start their business, and how they flourish within that business is a very satisfying experience. We have several partners we work with to help us bring each small business
owner's dream come to true. I do have to say that the most rewarding part of lending is helping people realize their dream and help it come true.

I was born in Ralston, NE where I was raised by entrepreneur parents. My mother was the owner of a beauty salon for more than 30 years and my dad took over his family’s business. I have 2 beautiful daughters, Skyler (25) and Shelbi (22) and married my husband Nathan in 2012.
After Nathan and I married we moved to Yorktown, VA. Nathan was stationed at Naval Base Norfolk, from 2012 until he
retired after 20 years of service in 2018. After the Navy we moved to Florida where we lived in Fort Lauderdale for 2 years. We later moved to Colorado, where we started our lives as empty nesters. My husband and I love to golf, so we try to get a round in every weekend if we can.

I am so happy to be a part of the FSWCF team. We are small but we are mighty. We accomplish more for our borrowers, because we listen to their needs to help them accomplish their dreams.

Thank you for reading and sharing our newsletter.
