I was going to write a research paper/book report style on the volcanic island of Dominica (pronounced, dom-in-EE-ka) (where we went on our honeymoon) for this months' newsletter, but summer has set in my toes and I don't feel like sitting in front of my computer much. interesting fact about whats' happening in Dominica right now; 

the Chinese gov.t are currently building a massive international airport. they've cleared acres and acres of vegetation and have imported ‘workers’ - who the locals never see anywhere out and about locally. when you drive by the site, you can see barrack-style housing that look more like concentration camps than lets say, dorms or housing that don't break humanitarian laws? but, I do leave this kind of reporting and journalism to the journalists and activists who are smart enough to write about such things.
