This summer, Britepaths and the Financial Empowerment Center at South County are partnering with the City of Alexandria EYE program, AHC, Inc., and Friends of Guest House to offer free financial literacy workshops for youth, seniors, and recently incarcerated women. These sessions cover banking, budgeting, taxes, and financial security. Youth workshops include engaging activities like the Fab Life game, while senior classes in English and Spanish address elder financial exploitation, identity protection, and budgeting on a fixed income. Additionally, we will be supporting women transitioning from incarceration to community reentry with financial education workshops and resources for further financial planning.
