A Note From Our Founders
 
Hey First name / friend
 
As the temperature is heating up, so are we! June has been an incredible month for all things TSS. Our creators are landing some INSANE brand partnerships, our campaigns division is killing it as always, and TSS is getting even bigger and better.
 
First off, VidCon was three weeks ago, and it was awesome catching up with so many familiar faces. It's always a blast connecting with both our long-time partners and some fresh new faces. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to chat and brainstorm!
 
We’re pumped about our summer campaigns, which are now in full swing. We’ve got an exciting partnership lined up for our creator Jasmine Nguyen and the Paris Olympics. Yup, you read that right — Paris 2024, baby! Jasmine will be an Olympic Content Creator giving us the BTS, fun interviews with athletes, and fashion trends at this year's Olympics. This is a huge deal for us, and we’re buzzing with anticipation to see the amazing content that will come out of this collaboration. Big things are happening, and we’re stoked to have you all on this journey with us.
 
We have said it once and we will say it again, the theme of TSS in 2024 is GROWTH. In June we welcomed five new faces to our team! A big shoutout to our newest full-timers: Zuleima (Contracts Admin) and Martina (Campaign Coordinator). We are beyond excited to have you!  But that’s not all — in the summer internship season spirit, we have welcomed three new interns in our Creator Management Division — Ella, Tara, and Sydney. Everyone, let’s make sure they feel the love and get settled in smoothly.
 
With the summer months a little bit less chaotic than the rest of the year, we hope you are enjoying your vacations and rest. This year has been wonderful so far, but it’s just going to keep getting better. So, take a moment to relax and recharge, and get ready for more amazing opportunities and growth in the coming months.

As we all know, Instagram is up to some pretty crazy stuff when it comes to its advertisements. First it was unskippable in-feed ads, and now they are testing out new intrusive ad formats for stories. This new version of Instagram would not only include the “unskippable” in-feed ads that don’t let users scroll or tap past until the timer is done, but also pop-up ads under your friends’ Stories. It is TBD whether these new features will be rolled out en masse as many users are already complaining about its annoyance… but we will keep you posted!
 
We all know TikTok is trying to make its name in the e-commerce world in the U.S. and with that they are trying to add some innovation. TikTok Shop has now added a new feature that allows for Image search! The update allows users to search for product listings in the app based on a visual example. 
 
The it-girl of social media back in 2022, BeReal has been sold for $500 million. After BeReal’s nearly overnight rise to fame, the app’s popularity plummeted rapidly. Voodoo, a gaming and app development company recently bought the app without disclosing its plan. Can BeReal BeRevived? Only time will tell…
 
How many times have you posted something on IG and immediately had to delete it because it looks awful in your feed aesthetic? Cough cough… us too :/ Well, Instagram has heard out complaints, they are testing a new feature that allows users to “send a preview” of a post prior to posting. This feature will allow you to see what your post will look like in your current feed without posting it live.
 
Instagram tests creator insights profile performance overview for brands. This new update will allow “Creator Insights” to be displayed directly on their profile for only brands to see! The basic display will show follower growth, accounts reached, and accounts engaged for the last 30 days. As a creator AND brand partnership agency we are happy to see Instagram is trying to make the connection between creator and brand a little bit less complicated!
