Happy 4th of July! Crazy that the summer if flying bye as fast as it is.
We have restocked Chelated Iron and All Purpose Fertilizer so if you are needing to fertilize your containers of bedding plants, now if the time to stop in. Just a reminder, as we get into the heat of the summer, remember water is key. Watering early morning or later in the evening while it is cooler benefits the plants and your grass so much more. We are still noticing a lot of trees, shrubs, and even the yards showing spots of yellowing. This is an iron deficiency. We recommend Tree and Shrub fertilizer with the addition of Max Green, Chelated Iron, Iron Sulfate, or Medicap FE implants for your trees and shrubs. Bring your photos in and we can help you find a solution. I always suggest people take a before and after picture for comparison.
Another big thing is mosquitoes! We have a ton of great plants to help repel them! Citronella Geraniums, Lemon Grass, Rosemary, and Mint.
I received my shipment of poinsettia's today, so if you stop bye the greenhouse you can see them and watch them as they grow over the next 4 months!
We have set out a fresh crop of coleus, dew plant, variegated dew plant, black sweet potato vine, green sweet potato vine, lemon grass, basil, dill, and parsley. So if you need some last minute fillers before company comes over come see us.
If you are on the lawn care program, now is the time to come in and get your next round of fertilizer. If you aren't on the program and need fertilizer, come in and we can get you squared away.
