Snow Removal Survey Results |
|
In October 2023, the Littleton DDA began a pilot program for snow removal services throughout the downtown core along Main Street and Alamo Avenue. Consolidated Services Group (CSG) rendered snow removal services with a 0" tolerance, meaning crews began removal at the first sign of precipitation and continued service throughout the storms. Due to the success of the pilot program, the DDA continued its snow removal services throughout the winter and spring months, expanding the program to include cross streets within the snow removal area. We recently conducted a stakeholder survey to determine how the snow removal services impacted property and business owners in our downtown district, and the responses indicated the following: - Property and business owners were aware of the DDA's snow removal services
- The snow removal services benefitted property and business owners
- Property and business owners received timely email communications from the DDA with information about each snow storm and the services that would be rendered
- Property and business owners were pleased with the snow removal services CSG provided

CSG Cleaning & Maintenance Services |
|
The Littleton DDA is guided by its Plan of Development, which provides a road map for potential future investments in physical improvements, maintenance, programs and services for the betterment of downtown to be implemented by the DDA. The plan identifies five primary themes of improvement for downtown that were established based on feedback from stakeholders. One of the themes is centered around cleanliness and safety. Create a downtown that is clean and safe to improve the visitor experience and attract more businesses. Implementation of this theme resulted in hiring Consolidated Services Group (CSG) to provide monthly cleaning and maintenance services throughout the downtown district. As we continue our contracted services with CSG, we'll evaluate the impact these services have on our downtown community. |

Local Partnership and Stadium District Grant Funding Available - July 15th Deadline |
|
Each year the Littleton City Council considers requests for discretionary grants, historically from nonprofit organizations that serve Littleton residents, and awards the grants to the organizations during the budget process. For the 2025 award cycle, the city is including distribution of Stadium District Funding as part of the same application process. Stadium District Funding was a one-time payment to the city related to the purchase of the Denver Broncos Football Club to be spent on youth activity programs. To qualify for these funds, applicants must demonstrate how their use of the funds will benefit youth activity programs in the community. Additionally, local partnership funding is no longer considering arts, culture, and tourism applications, as these applications should be directed to the arts and culture grants supported by the lodgers tax approved by voters in 2022. This is a competitive process as council always receives more requests than it has funds available. |
