This retreat is a unique experience in the sense that you have two completely different accomodation styles with in the same town. It's been curated this way with deep, heartfelt intention behind it. When you're an expat living in Cambodia often many of us would go for a 2 night staycation in the luxurious spots around town to revive and give our chance to receive. There is no denying those of us that are financially able to do this are extremely fortunate.

 

I feel that the inclination to do this was to experience the polarities that reside so prevalently through out Cambodia. You've got lavish luxury and humble simplicity in every type of experience on offer, neither is right or wrong, infact it just adds to the rich, vibrancy of what Cambodia. But true to the teachings of Buddhism…everything in moderation, everything existing as it is with no resistance, everything appreciated in loving-kindness.
