Hi there, to all the new subscribers! Over the weekend, I posed to question on social media: "Where would you do a dessert crawl in Omaha?" Pretty sure we did not meet a consensus. The plan was to do a crawl with just my kids and some friends, but it sounds like a lot of people loved the idea. Maybe I'll plan one? On another note, but still on the topic of sweets: I went on a road trip to Lincoln on Sunday for the Nebraska Passport 15th Anniversary Party at 402 Creamery. The ice cream shop unveiled a new, limited-time ice cream flavor created with Arbor Day Farm called "Nebraska to the Core" with vanilla bean ice cream with apple swirls and toasted oat streusel (GF). I didn't get it because I'm a chocolate fiend, so I got Always Be Trufflin. If you try it, let me know how it is! ~ Kim |
